Our Westbrook Cellar Door is an amazing place to taste award-winning wines with our friendly team. Westbrook is a privately owned vineyard and winery located north-west of downtown Auckland, in Auckland's original wine-country - you'll find us at 215 Ararimu Valley Road, Waimauku, Auckland. Established in 1935, we produce a range of stunning wines, many of which are multi-award-winners, with Chardonnay and Riesling being our flagship wines. Read more Our busy cellar door offers wine-tasting and wine flights, tasty platters, cheeseboards, and gourmet pizzas with GF, Vegan and Vegetarian options. You can also 'build your own' platter. You can enjoy a glass or bottle of wine on-site and buy wine to take home at cellar-door prices. We offer a small range of beer and soda/juice etc so there are plenty of non-wine drink options available. We are family-friendly and have (limited) indoor tables and outdoor areas where fur friends are welcome. Bookings are essential on weekends and public holidays and for groups of 10 or more (any day of the week). On busy days we may not be able to fulfil all requests for wine tasting for walk-ups, however, you'll be offered a flight, or glass of wine, instead. Guests sitting on the patio or deck can start a tab for their table and our team will offer table service as much as possible. When placing your orders, if you're not asked, please let your server know if you want separate tabs or if you will split the bill between guests, to save time at the other end. Note the name of your table, so anyone in our team can easily find your bill when it's time for you to leave, in case your name has not been noted. It may seem like a small thing, but when that cellar door is busy, it really helps to be able to process those bill payments promptly. If you're sitting by the pond/terraces etc you'll be asked to order at the cellar door and pay as you go. This includes any additional drinks or food as we are unable to offer 'table service' outside the patio or deck. Upon ordering, you'll be invited to wait and take your drinks and water with you and our team will bring food to you. You'll be given a number to hang on your water bottle to help them find you so if you move from the spot you told them you're sitting, please let us know to avoid any delays in getting meals to you.
